- Take I-90 East to Exit 8 (Defreestville, NY Rt 43).
- Follow exit to the third traffic light and turn right on to Best Road (County Rt 55).
- Follow Best Road for 4.5 miles to Route 150 (Traffic light) and go straight (County Rt 50) another 3.5 miles to Totem Lodge Road
- Turn left on Totem Lodge Road
- Entrance is 1 mile on right on Totem Lodge Road. (Go past old clubhouse)

- Follow Route 9 North till you come to Route 150 (Schodack).
- Turn right on Route 150 (North) and follow the road about 7 miles to Sliters Corners (Traffic signal) and turn right on to County Rt 50.
- Follow Rt 50 about 3.5 miles to Totem Lodge Road
- Turn left on Totem Lodge Road
- Entrance is 1 mile on right on Totem Lodge Road. (Go past old clubhouse)

- Take the Northway south to I-90
- Go East on I-90, cross the Hudson River, then get off at Exit 8 (Defreestville, NY Rt 43).

| From Points south of Thruway Exit 21A |
- Take the Thruway to Exit 21A (Berkshire Spur I-90).
- Get off the first exit (Rt 9 Hudson). After you pay your toll immediately take Route 9 north.
- Follow Route 9 North till you come to Route 150 (Schodack).
- Turn right on Route 150 (North) and follow the road about 7 miles to Sliters Corners (Traffic signal) and turn right on to County Rt 50.
- Follow Rt 50 about 3.5 miles to Totem Lodge Road
- Turn left on Totem Lodge Road
